Success scored
at Cyberport Tenants Club networking event
|
Samson Tam,
Legislative Council member representing the Information Technology Functional
Constituency, met Cyberport's tenants and incubatees during the CTC networking
event.

|
A lunch networking session, held by the Cyberport Tenants Club (CTC) in May, was
a huge success, allowing participants the opportunity to exchange views and
share their input on the club's activities and mission. The management of
Cyberport has studied tenants' suggestions and hopes to incorporate their
suggestions where possible.
The event enabled tenants and incubatees to network with each other in a relaxed
and casual setting. Over 60 representatives including tenants and
incubatees were present at the lunch. Herman Lam, Cyberport's CEO, Samson
Tam, Legislative Council member for the Information Technology Functional
Constituency, Mark Clift, Cyberport's COO, and Joanna Cheung, CTC's Chairman,
were also present, and mingled and listened to tenants' ideas and needs.
Mr. Clift introduced some Cyberport green programmes and invited participation
and support from all tenants and guests. Ms. Cheung gave an update on the
Club's upcoming activities. These included a photography contest in
September, the November CyberRun for Rehab 2010, and a sports event in early
2011. Sheila Purves from the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation was at
the event to further elaborate on the 7th CyberRun for Rehab.
Cyberport hopes these activities will give tenants an invaluable opportunity to
get to know each other in a bid to nurture a collaborative and friendly
environment for everyone within the community. |
