AWS DeepRacer 500 Strong Training Day

Co-organised by Cyberport, AWS DeepRacer 500 Strong Training Day was held on 20 December 2021. As part of the DE*Spark programme presented by DELF 2021, the training day attracted over 500 students from 26 secondary schools to attend. Over 60 of them visited Cyberport for the event while the rest of them joined through the online platform.
During the half-day training session, the students learnt about AI machine learning, deep neural network and received training on AWS DeepRacer Model from Mr. Clifford Duke, Solutions Architect of AWS and Cyrus Wong, Senior Lecturer of Hong Kong IVE (Lee Wai Lee).
The training day was a teaser for the AWS Student Cup to be held in April. The competition opens to teams of five students from all local secondary school.
