Asiabots garnered silver medal at International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2022 ⋯⋯⋯⋯ Cyberport Incubatee Asiabots received a silver medal from the world-renowned International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2022 with their “AI Voicebot Training System with Performance Evaluation for Call Centre Agents”.
Established in 2017, Asiabots is devoted to building conversational AI and decided to develop their own Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text to Speech (TTS) engines, constructing the key pillars for their AI technology applications. First started in deploying AI technology in medical field, Asiabots soon expanded their reach to other industries including FinTech, hospitality, retail, and more.
While textual customer service chatbots are prevailing in the market, Asiabots thrives and stands out from the pack with voicebot supported by their self-developed engines and human-like voices. Their AI voicebots can handle call enquiries and answer FAQs 24/7 without a human service agent involved.
Asiabots customizes AI voicebot for particular training needs as many special terminologies, uncommon situations and procedures are often involved. Leveraging on clients’ substantial volume of speech data, the AI voicebot tackles the difficulties in conducting training for call centre agents.
Asiabots established their first office in Taiwan last year. The company’s Co-founder and CFO Chris Shum shared that language is dynamic and it’s important to get AI to learn how people talk in different ways, or with different accents while conveying the same meanings. Asiabots hope to fill the gap in voicebots that speak regionally accented Mandarin, and looks forward to seeing wider adoption of AI voicebot in more areas.
