The Le Méridien Hong Kong, Cyberport has reopened after undergoing extensive renovations. The refreshed five-star hotel features newly designed guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, top-notch restaurants, as well as pet-friendly facilities, making it an ideal destination for tourists, staycations, “pawcations”, weekend trips, romantic getaways, business stays and events.
Among the most notable aspects of the revamp are new sustainability measures and smart technologies. For example, a smart farm-to-table hydroponics “green wall” grows micro-greens and herbs for the restaurants and bar; WWF-accredited sustainable seafood, cage-free eggs, and plant-based menu options are available; excess food is donated to local charities, while food waste is turned into biogas and compost at a local organic resource recovery centre.
The hotel also uses Rice Robotics’ robots to greet guests and provide services directly to rooms, and provides guests with complimentary access to Cyberport’s esports gaming venue. It has also outfitted every room with a Kara smart fitness mirror offering built-in virtual trainers and workout programmes.
The authentically transformed hotel is also poised to be a dining destination for epicureans with four inspired choices: Nam Fong presents creative Cantonese cuisine prepared by Michelin-starred chef Quentin Leung; Umami features traditional Japanese izakaya favourites; Southside Bistro, serves up classic French brasserie fare and authentic pan-Asian specialties on a beautiful outdoor terrace; and Latitude 22 is an innovative coffeehouse by day and a cocktail and wine bar by night.
The hotel is currently offering a variety of accommodation packages in celebration of its reopening. The “LM Experience Package” provides a delightful afternoon tea and dining experience for the hotel’s first returning guests, while the “LM Family Discovery Getaway” and “Pawcation” packages encourage those with children and pets to enjoy a sojourn on the Southside.
