Cyberport start-ups snagged four of the top 10 spots at Start-up Express 2023, the prestigious annual entrepreneurship development programme organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). In recognition of their winning innovations, and their feat in outperforming a record number of contestants, the start-ups will receive the HKTDC’s capacity-building, mentoring, and marketing support for international growth.
The four start-ups are:
Big Bang Academy, an EdTech start-up that is changing the way children from 3 to 12 learn STEAM.
DimOrder, a RetailTech company and Meituan Dianping partner that empowers restaurants with a cloud-based shop and POS system.
Negawatt Technology, providing PropTech, AIoT, and ESG solutions that enable landlords and tenants to drive quantifiable ESG impact; Negawatt also received an ESG Award for its sustainable and socially impactful business solution.
Neuropix, a MedTech start-up offering the world’s first bilateral wireless neurostimulation system for treatment of major brain diseases.
The winners will participate in a series of local and international promotional events to build connections with business leaders and investors, navigate new markets, pursue partnerships, and boost brand awareness to accelerate their growth across the globe.
