HashKey Capital, a leading institutional-grade virtual asset manager, has received approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to upgrade its existing License 9 held by HashKey Capital Limited. This upgrade allows HashKey Capital to offer virtual asset fund product services to retail investors, further expanding its offerings in the virtual asset management space.
Bosera Funds (International) Limited has also received approval from the Hong Kong SFC to expand its business scope to include asset management services related to virtual assets, in addition to its existing License 9 (Provision of Asset Management) business.
This significant development marks a new chapter in the partnership between Bosera International and HashKey Capital. Moving forward, the two companies will leverage their combined resources to focus on various areas such as virtual asset spot ETFs, blockchain technology, and fintech. Their goal is to jointly promote the issuance of spot ETFs for Bitcoin and Ethereum, providing investors with a secure, compliant, and convenient way to directly participate in these markets.
HashKey Group has also recently debuted a new global trading platform, “HashKey Global”. With this launch, and boosted by rising global demand for cryptocurrencies, HashKey is poised to rival Coinbase in trading volume within the next five years.
The new platform, operating under a Digital Asset Business license from Bermuda, provides services worldwide, with the exception of certain jurisdictions such as the United States, Mainland China, and Hong Kong.
