Big Data for a Big City
The IT Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers has been organizing annual conferences to provide a platform for the promotion and exchanges of the latest technologies and best practices among IT practitioners in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas. The theme of the 2014 ITD annual conference is "Big Data for a Big City". Big data is currently an important topic in the IT industry around the globe.

Programme Highlights
The organizing committee has drawn up an attractive programme which includes Mr. Daniel Lai, GCIO, who will officiate the opening of the event and Prof. Benjamin Wah, Provost of The Chinese University of Hong Kong who will be the Keynote Speaker. The other conference speakers include Government officials, industrial leaders, researchers and high-end users of Big Data. We anticipate over 200 participants from Hong Kong SAR, the Mainland and overseas to join the conference to exchange views on the latest trends of ICT development with local ICT professionals.


Participants are advised to register in advance (by April 15, 2014) to receive an early-bird discount.
