Cyberport's Privilege Card holders invited to Smart Travel Talk |
Cyberport Privilege Card holders are in for a treat
in the month of April with the presentation of the Smart Travel Talk, which will
feature a line-up of free talks in Cantonese, aimed at sharing travel tips on
how to be a better and smarter traveller in this new innovative age.
The talks, to be held on April 9 between 2:00pm and 3:30pm, will feature a range
of speakers including Tommy Au, author of "GPS Cycling Travel in Australia" and
"The Story of Climbing Rescue Team" who will discuss how to best optimise the
use of innovative tools like Google Earth, GPS and EveryTrail in order to plan
your overseas trips better. Alexander Lee, author of "Embracing Iran",
will talk about safe solo travel and share his own experience of his travels in
Iran. Barry Ku, a guest host on radio and television programmes and a
fellow member and speaker of The International Travellers Association will
advise participants on how best to fly with budget airlines and keep travel
costs low.
