Incubatee Perpetu
named top ten startup |
Cyberport incubatee Perpetu has been named the most promising competing startup
from Hong Kong by Echelon’s Hong Kong Satellite.
The company's prize winning and innovative platform enables users to decide what
happens to their online accounts from Facebook to Gmail, Twitter to Instagram in
the event of death.
"We give users more control over their online content by helping them carry out
their last wishes automatically. For example, publishing final words on
social network profiles, sharing work files with colleagues or deleting tweets,"
said co-founder Ryanne Lai.
"We are currently only offering our product directly to individuals but are
exploring partnering opportunities with insurance and will-writing firms," said
co-founder Andrea Livotto.
"We have been so impressed with Perpetu's innovative concept and product.
We will continue to support the company in whatever way we can and look forward
to providing further support in the future," said Herman Lam, CEO of Cyberport.
