Indulge in exciting activities and family challenge at Cyberport this CNY!

Celebrate the start of the lunar new year in style with a visit to Cyberport where an exciting line-up of events have been planned to welcome in the year of the rabbit!

The Chinese New Year festivities will see the Ocean View Court transformed into a Chinese New Year Fair, to run between February 3 and 8.  For the first time ever, Cyberport's festivities will also feature a traditional Chinese style street with 12 booths offering traditional snack favourites such as dragon's beard candies, glutinous rice balls and maltose cracker sandwiches.

Other highlights include a not-to-be-missed acrobatic performance by a ballet troupe from Nanjing and Fortune Telling Workshop between February 3 and 8, and the Children's Cantonese Opera Performance by kids in traditional costumes and masks on February 6, in addition to the lion dance on February 8.

Visitors can meanwhile capture their favourite photo moments at the Peach Tree Garden inside the Ocean View Court where they can also hang their wishing cards under the Wishing Pavilion.

Those looking for challenges can meanwhile participate in the city's first "God of Fortune Fitness Challenge" on February 6, which allows participants to exercise and lose belly fat with amazing prize of an Xbox 360 with Kinect.

To coincide with the celebrations is the Cyberport Love and Share Charity Challenge Day.  To be held on February 13, the fun-filled challenge day requires participants to complete a series of checkpoints in order to win fabulous prizes and donate candy gift boxes to St. James' Settlement People's Food Bank.  For details and registration, please go to www.lovensharehk.org or click here.
