Assistant Manager - Operations (F&G) (1-year contract JCS3.0) (Ref# AMOFG220808W)

Key Responsibilities

  • Being a business partner of Public Mission teams and assisting in system development, including provide accounting & financial advice to several public mission teams, especially the Smart Living Cluster
  • To provide recommendations and business project management for ERP system changes, including integration with other systems or processes

Key Responsibilities

Senior Manager - Campus Management (Event & Business Operations) (Ref# SMCM220712W)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Head of Campus Management to Manage the Campus management team to provide professional real estate management services to Cyberport, its tenants, stakeholders and visitors
  • Manage and negotiate relationships with businesses, partners and companies based at Cyberport to maximize the value delivered to Cyberport
  • Support and monitor the operation arrangement for ad hoc guest visit as per the notification of Corporate Communication & Marketing team and others.
  • Drive portfolio or campus management activities to maximize satisfaction and loyalty for companies based at Cyberport
  • Assist the COO and Head of Campus Management in managing Cyberport’s hotel Le Meridien Cyberport
  • Manage outsourced service provider(s) including those related to the services for handling of customer marketing and complaint, provision of tenant bus and operation of electric car station, and other daily campus operation.
  • Ensure that their performance and deliverables will meet contractual and budgetary obligations, including cost control and revenue generation, as well as the expectations of Cyberport.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of facilities management to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements, and ensure efficient, reliable and cost-effective facilities systems and management in accordance with the company’s requirements and approved budgets.
  • Manage staff within the Campus Management department, as necessary
  • Provide expert advice to the Management team and Board of Directors as necessary

Requirements

  • Degree plus recognized relevant professional qualifications in Customer services, event organizer or similar in sale and promotion, marketing, hotel management, property/facilities management or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience on behalf of a government department, landlord, owner or service provider
  • Strategic as well as operational approach
  • Solid experience in campus or portfolio management of Grade A commercial property, with international experience a plus
  • Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills, adaptability highly independent and motivated
  • Pro-active personality with strong leadership qualities and strong problem -solving skills
  • Good business acumen and entrepreneurial skill with extensive industry knowledge and contacts
  • Able to work under pressure and heavy workload in sophisticated environment and deadline driven environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, including writing business reports and proposals, and delivering same to Board or other bodies as required
  • Chinese and other languages a plus

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.

Project Executive (Ref# PESL220712W)

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in Smart Living Cluster & Youth Team, including planning, executing and monitoring programmes and events which aim to nurture youth talents in pursuit of digital tech careers or entrepreneurship
  • Assist to develop strategic partnerships with local and overseas academic institutions, especially in higher education, and other industry players to groom youth talents for the Cyberport community
  • Assist to drive tech entrepreneurship among youth and engage them in Cyberport entrepreneurial programmes
  • Assist to build a critical talent pool to facilities matching between tech-enabled youths and employers in need of tech talents
  • Enhance bonding among Cyberport student & youth alumni and their engagement with the Cyberport community
  • Assist in project development, production and maintenance of promotional materials
  • Support marketing and business development activities including but not limited to delegation visits, roadshows, workshops and networking events to foster collaborations between partners and achieve successful commercialization outcomes
  • Communicate with the government unit, co-organizers or related institutions to update and explain the status of review for some applications if necessary
  • Handle rtelephone and email enquiries for programme-related activities and events
  • Project Implementation & Budget Monitoring
  • Assist in develolping and implementing the programme and campaigns
  • Prepare and maintain summary of programme applications
  • Independently schedule, arrange and handle meeting logistics
  • Review recipients project spending and prepare for payment
  • Assist in coordinating of surveys, review meetings and programmes activities
  • Prepare al purchasing requests and expenses claims for programmes & events expenditure
  • Other Administration Support
  • Update the prorammes statistical figures periodically
  • Organise and maintain a proper filing system for the programmes
  • Collect necessary data from the recipients, update and maintain the database
  • Composes administrative correspondence and drafts (external and internal) such as memos, letters, reports, presentations, agendas, meeting materials and minutes
  • Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and events, and make recommendations for new programmes or improvement to existing ones
  • Devise marketing plans or campaigns to cultivate success stories of those youth talents being nurtured
  • Support other initiatives of the Public Mission Team and perform any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate

Requirements

  • University graduate in all disciplines
  • 2 years of work experience in relevant fields
  • Experience in negotiating and partnering with NGOs, Youth Associations, Government, digital tech associations, academic institutions, and business enterpriese
  • Strong project management skills
  • A relationship-builder and strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in PC skill, including MS work, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing etc
  • Knowledge and experience in digital marketing, and use of graphics software is an advantage
  • Creative, analytical and well-organised
  • Candidate with more experience would be considered as Senior Project Executive

Senior Programme Executive/Programme Executive (Ref# SPEED220711W)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the events (exhibitions, conferences, seminars, webinars etc) jointly organized or sponsored by Cyberport with partners. This mainly includes devising the event programme and theme, co-ordinate Cyberport internal and startup participation and manage overall logistics
  • To liaise with external consultants/ contractors/ vendors as well as internal department to ensure the responsible programme implementation to meet the event timeline with quality deliverables
  • To prepare all procurements related documents and expense claims in compliance to the respective guidelines, policies and procedures as approved for internal controls
  • To organize and support VVIP visit arrangement including scheduling, manpower allocation, speakers’ invitation, internal communication with the supporting teams
  • To review and update of reports, budgets, schedules, policies and procedures
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree on business management, marketing, communications, public relations or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in marketing or event management, preferably gained in sizable / MNC companies
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, Fluent in Putonghua
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word processing
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and observe tight deadlines
