Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and manage signature events to exemplify Cyberport's position as the flagship for Hong Kong's digital tech industry and to promote its public mission
Devise and implement strategic plans to create an integrated event experience for physical, hybrid or virtual events with synergy
Provide full range support on event management including but not limited to speaker invitation and liaison, programme development, promotion and advertising, partners collaboration, sponsors solicitation, marketing collaterals, audience recruitment, stage production and management, onsite logistics, as well as market research and procurement
Source and incorporate innovate and tech event elements to enhance traction and attendee engagements, including digital/ interactive gimmicks, gamified solutions, incentives, event platforms etc
Work closely with different business units, start-up/ investor communities, agencies, suppliers, Government bodies and industry organizations
Monitor, review events results and benchmark industry best practices to identify new ideas and future improvements
Manage marketing budget and monitor event P/L
Requirements:
University graduate in marketing, communications or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of solid experience in event/ conference management, corporate marketing, communications or related disciplines
Proven track record in organizing physical, hybrid and virtual events, ideally from sizeable organizations and preferably in technology/ innovation industry
Solid experience in end-to-end project management, event production/ staging, as well as suppliers & partners liaison
Experienced in identifying and inviting international renowned speaker and potential sponsors with a view to elevating the international reputation of the event
Experience in content & digital marketing, PR; proficiency in artwork design or EDM software; and/or connection with industry bodies is a plus
Strong event and project management skills in big scale regional or international business events and conferences
Knowledge and familiarity in sophisticated hybrid and virtual events setup, event platforms, event technology deployment, cross-platform marketing and user experience
Superb skill in stage planning and management, and problem solving, capable to handle unforeseeable situation during event proceeding and come up with solutions promptly
Excellent interpersonal skill, experienced in handling VIP guests and renowned speakers
A fast-mover and strategic thinker with new normal agility and efficiency
Creative, analytical, detail oriented, well-organized and adaptive
A relationship builder and team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines/ schedules
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua), excellent presentation skill, including MC role of selective event sessions whenever necessary
