Internal Private Network

The Internal Private Network (IPN), Cyberport's backbone for Internet access, is a unique IT&T facility unlike standard market broadband products, with 20Gbps Ethernet uplinks and pay-as-you-go bandwidth to accommodate unanticipated increases in user demand. Tenants receive two IPN ports at 300Mbps local shared bandwidth free of charge after a one-time installation fee, and can subscribe for GE ports if higher or dedicated international bandwidth is required at a cost of only $1,000/Mbps per month (up to 1Gbps) through the Cyberport Optical Network (CON).

IPN ports can support both IPv4 and IPv6. For IPv6 addresses, a prefix of 48 will be allocated upon request at no additional charge. For IPv4 addresses, dynamic private IP address will be provided by DHCP at no additional charge, if a fixed public IP address per port is required, HK$120 per month per fixed IP will be charged.
